The titles, both created by developer Take 2 Interactive, helped the company buck a downward trend that has plagued the rest of the video game industry lately.
Video game software sales saw a year-over-year slide of 11 percent, shrinking to $469.5 million for the month of June. However, the popular titles by Take 2 Interactive maintained steady sales, bringing in considerable revenue for the developer.
